The vocational program offers a unique learning environment that teaches self-management skills and responsible decision making and works to reduce recidivism by improving reading, writing and critical thinking skills while youth work to attain their high school equivalency. We also allow youth to explore potential career options through career planning, hands on experience and paid internships. We also provide wrap around services for students and their families with assessments, referrals and resources. We take Mecklenburg County youth who are 16-21 years of age who meet our entrance requirements.
